302 stainless steel plate is an austenitic stainless steel with good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties. It is suitable for various hot processing such as stamping and bending, and there is no heat treatment hardening phenomenon. The chemical composition of 302 stainless steel plate mainly includes iron, chromium, nickel and other elements.
Features: Corrosion resistance: 302 stainless steel plate can maintain a good surface state in harsh environments such as moisture, acidity and alkalinity, but its corrosion resistance is slightly inferior to SUS304 because its nickel and chromium content is slightly lower.
High temperature performance: In high temperature environment, 302 stainless steel plate can maintain good mechanical properties and certain corrosion resistance, but due to its high carbon content, it is prone to intergranular corrosion, so it is not suitable for use in high temperature environment, nor for welding.
Strength and toughness: 302 stainless steel plate can obtain high strength after cold processing, but the elongation is slightly lower than that of 301 steel. Its tensile strength σb (MPa) ≥ 520, conditional yield strength σ0.2 (MPa) ≥ 205, elongation δ5 (%) ≥ 40, cross-sectional shrinkage ψ (%) ≥ 60, hardness ≤ 187HB, ≤ 90HRB, ≤ 200HV.Application areas:302 stainless steel plates are widely used in architectural decoration, kitchen equipment, automotive accessories and other fields.
