405 stainless steel plate is a low-chromium pure ferritic stainless steel with excellent oxidation resistance, plasticity and toughness, suitable for a variety of industrial fields.
Chemical composition and mechanical properties: The chemical composition of 405 stainless steel plate includes carbon (C) ≤0.08%, silicon (Si) ≤1%, manganese (Mn) ≤1%, sulfur (S) ≤0.03%, phosphorus (P) ≤0.04%, chromium (Cr) 11.5%-14.5%, aluminum (Al) 0.1%-0.3%. Its mechanical properties are tensile strength ≥415 MPa, yield strength ≥205 MPa, elongation ≥22%, and hardness ≤183 HB.
Corrosion resistance and processing performance: 405 stainless steel plate has good corrosion resistance and can resist general atmospheric corrosion, fresh water corrosion and oxidizing acid corrosion. In high temperature environment, it shows good oxidation resistance and anti-sulfurization performance. In addition, 405 stainless steel plates are easy to process, and can be cut, stamped, bent, and other operations at room temperature. The surface treatment is simple and the cleanliness is high.
